Children who reside in Hunters Creek attend public schools in the Northeast Independent School District (NEISD).Schools that serve our neighborhood residents include Oak Meadow Elementary, Jackson Middle School, and Winston Churchill High School.
Military families with school age children who are transferring in and out of the area should browse NEISD’s Military Family information page, which includes links to a variety of Joint Base San Antonio resources and contacts for DoD personnel. The drive from Hunters Creek to any of the three major bases (JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, JBSA-Lackland, or JBSA-Randolph) is a short 12 to 15 miles.
